Dowsing

Dowsing can help to find objects, to heal, to find energy blocks in a home or to locate people. Most dowsers use a dowsing rods or pendulums. Dowsing, also known as Radioesthesia, has a history of about 7,000 years. Rods were used in Ancient Egypt and China. In the middle Ages, dowsing was used to find coal in Europe. Dowsing has also been used widely to locate water underground.

Dowsing Rods.

Two rods are used. They form an L shape and are traditionally made of copper or wood. You can make your own rods out of bent coat hangers. Cut the wires at the bottom. Bend each wire into 90 degree angle. So that one side is shorter than another. Use the short side as the handle and the other side as the pointer.

How to use dowsing rods exercise.

1. Hold one rod in each hand so that they are parallel to each other. Point them in one direction. Be sure the rod is horizontal to the ground.

2. You can hold them over a map or a physical location. If you are looking for water, for example, keep the idea of water in your mind as you walk in one direction.

4. When the rods cross you can found what you are looking for.

Dowsing a person's energy field exercise.

1. At a distance of a few feet, face the person with your dowsing rods parallel to the ground.

2. State in your mind that you are measuring the boundaries of the person’s energy field (aura). Focus only on this as you walk towards him or her.

3. Ask the person to remove any jewelery. Crystals and gemstones can affect the dowsing rods.

4. As you touch the energy field, the rods will cross.
